2023 the Greater Bay Area and China-ASEAN Tourism Research and Education Forum
*Note: Due to many requests, the submission deadline has been extended to November 20th, 2023.
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and ASEAN region have a prosperous tourism industries and world-leading education in the field of tourism. Education institutions in this area have established a comprehensive multi-level talent training system for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students, with excellent quality, consistently outputting high-quality tourism professionals.
In order to better facilitate the tourism industry in transition, 2023 the Greater Bay Area and China-ASEAN Tourism Research and Education Forum is hosted by the School of Tourism Management at Sun Yat-sen University, co-organized by School of Hotel and Tourism Management of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Macao Institute for Tourism Studies under the support of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance.
The forum focuses on high-level tourism talent cultivation, and will be exploring various issues related to in-school and industry talent development. We sincerely invite scholars, industry experts, practitioners in academia and industry and graduate students to actively contribute and participate in the forum, to jointly contribute to further development of tourism research and talent cultivation.

04 Call for Participation
This conference welcomes submissions related to the above mentioned theme and topics. Individual submissions will be displayed in the form of oral presentation or poster presentation. Please indicate your presentation preference in the email subject.
Abstracts of 400-600 words (excluding references) must be sent to yanglsh25@dingtalk.com by November 20th, 2023, and please also include author names, affiliations, contact information of the submitter, and a brief sentence on how the submission responses to the conference topics. The conference administrator will contact you if the submission is accepted.
Poster Instructions:
- Please bring a printed copy of your poster to the conference;
- The poster should be made in English or Chinese;
- The size of the poster should be 90*120cm, portrait orientation; it should be submitted in PDF format or other image formats, such as jpg, png, tiff etc.);
- Please hand the poster to the volunteers at the registration desk upon arrival. Our volunteers will help put up your posters.

本次论坛聚焦高层次旅游人才培养,全方位探讨在校培养和业界培养等问题。我们诚邀学界和业界相关专家、从业者以及研究生,踊跃投稿并亲临会议,共同为旅游研究和人才培养的进一步发展贡献力量。

本次会议将围绕上述议题进行学术报告和研讨,欢迎相关领域专家学者、从业人员、研究生报名参会并提交论文摘要。投稿作品将以口头汇报或海报张贴方式展示,请在邮件主题中注明拟选择的展示方式。
请于2023年11月20日前提交400-600字中文或英文摘要至会议秘书处:yanglsh25@dingtalk.com(杨老师)。请注明作者姓名、所属单位、联系方式,以及用一两句话简述该投稿作品是如何回应本次会议议题的。录用情况将以邮件通知。
海报张贴说明:
请作者按照要求自行制作并打印海报带到会场,具体要求如下:
- 海报须以中文或英文制作,双语亦可;
- 海报成品尺寸应为竖版:宽90cm *高120cm(电子版应为PDF格式或其它图片格式,如jpg, png, tiff等);
- 标题与内容自行设计,内容应力求简洁明晰、图文并茂、色彩美观、方便交流;
- 请在报到时将海报交给签到台,工作人员将协助张贴;
- 会议将安排交流时间,作者可自行准备交流材料。

参会者往返交通费、住宿费自理。本次会议注册缴费仅通过中山大学交费大厅收取,并由平台自动开具“会议费”发票。
