Dean's Message

Since its establishment, STM has been concentrating on the basic task of fostering virtue through education. The school has been building a talent development system of world-class standard and with China characteristics. It aims to nurture tourism talents with an all-round moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic grounding, who possesses striving spirit to be competent in solving complex problems.

STM has consistently adhered to focusing on critical academic issues and real-world concerns. It has made contributions to various national strategies, such as the fostering national tourism powerhouse, the integration of culture and tourism, the rural revitalization, the Belt and Road Initiative, the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the construction of ecological civilization. 

Driven by proactive spirit and unwavering tenacity, all members of STM uphold the mission of our university to serve the development of the country, region, and industries, with high attention to the common challenges of human civilization.
